Imaan would love a pet!
Dear parents,
Imagine your
children being independent and looking after a pet themselves, imagine your
house-hold having a pet running amuck and you not being scared, and imagine
your children getting lots of exercise. You, our lovely, hard-working, caring
parents can give your children the dream they’ve always wanted to come true,
today. I your lovely one and only daughter, am writing to you to, politely,
request for a pet.
My first reason is that we will be able
to learn to be independent. If you get us a pet we will learn to feed it the
right amount and when to feed it. For example, if you get us a pet hamster then
we will be able to recognise when the hamster is hungry or thirsty. Did you
know most of the children in year 6 have a pet and are responsible for it?
Specifically, Saskia in my class has quite a few pets (by quite a few I mean a
lot!). Saskia is responsible for all her pets; she has to feed them, make sure
they get lots of exercise and much more. If we have a pet we will feed it and
make sure it’s getting a lot of exercise. It will also be extra chores for us!
Another reason is that both of us, me and
the pet, will get more exercise. For example, a pet dog will keep us healthy
and it’s self. Another way of saying it is that we will be healthy by taking
the pet for a walk every day. With a pet we can all have fun and go to the
field like we used to. Lazy, un-healthy, terrible exercising- is this how you
want your children to behave? No? Then I suggest you get us a pet.
In contrast, you may think and know that
you have other important jobs to do than look after a pet. You are also scared
of certain pets such as, cats and dogs. However, Amaar and I can look after the
pet when you’re busy. Also you can get over the fear that has been within you
by getting us a pet.
In summary, if you want your children to
learn to be independent, if you want your children to get exercise, not just at
school, then make the right decision and get us a pet. The more your children
learn to be independent, the more you’ll be proud of us. Proud of us because,
not only are we your loving, caring and unique children but because we will be
independent. I’ll be eagerly anticipating your response.
Love from,
Ahmed would REALLY like a PS4!
Dear Dad,
Imagine
your child having a big beautiful smile on his face, imagine your child getting
good grades. I am writing to request that we have a ps4.Did you know 60% of the
class want a ps4?
My
first reason getting a ps4 is good because it has stunning graphics that
probably other consoles don’t have. Also it has awesome games such as: Driving
Club, Marvel super heroes and watchdogs.
Specifically, it’s
one of the newest consoles all over the globe. Additionally the controller of
the ps4 is more flexible in controlling; the ps3 controller is hard to control.
Despite its one
of the best consoles in the world , some people think it’s quite expensive, but
it’s worth it because it’s stunning. Did you know ps4 costs 50 pound for one controller
less than the ps3 controller?
In a summary, if
you want your child to get a good grade, if you want your child to achieve his
goal, if you want your child to try his best, then I suggest we buy a ps4.
Yours Sincerely
your son Ahmed
Yara wants to go to Blackpool
Dear mum/dad,
Imagine all of us going to a place where you’ll never want to come away
from; imagine all of us as a family chilling and having fun, imagine us
learning more things about Black pool than normal? Do you want all these things
to happen? Yes? Then read on!
Firstly, if we go to Black pool we can learn way more about
it then we do now. Specifically, we’ll learn about how long the journey is and
how much it is from England and we’ll learn about how many play parks there are
too.
In addition, after all my hard work, I do think I deserve it!
Don’t you? I’ve done extra minutes even though I don’t want to and I have been
working extremely hard for a brilliant SAT result. By the way, if I have a
really good SAT result wouldn’t you agree to go there?
Furthermore, there are lots of places in Blackpool which are
definitely fun and since we, mostly me, have worked our socks off, I think we
deserve it. Did you know that allot of people go there and come back saying it
was spectacular, is that fair on me not to go?
I know you would say it costs too much but if you want me to
feel like I’m rewarded for good, hard-work, if you want me to feel like I’m not
the only one not going to Blackpool, if you want us as a family to have an
amazing time, then I advise you to forget about the money /expense and start
thinking about going! We will feel ever so happy! Happy because we have gone to
Blackpool!
If you want me to feel like I’m rewarded for hard work, if
you want to learn about different things about Blackpool, if you want us to
have such an amazing time there, then I’m willing for this request to be
purchased! Let me know what you suggest.
Yours
sincerely,
Yara.
Jack's persuasive letter
Dear Grandma,
Imagine me being able to have more time to play out,
imagine you not having to walk to find me, imagine me not having to come home
all the time to tell you where I’m going. Well you have the power to buy me a
phone.
Firstly I think I should have a phone, and then I can keep
in touch with you so I won’t have to keep going home to tell you were I’m
going.
The other reason why I think I should have a phone is because
it will be more helpful for you so you won’t have to keep walking to find were
I am then if I have a phone you will just have to call me.
In despite of all the good things of having a phone, some
people might think it might be expensive and would be a waste of money on
credit. What price can you put on the safety of a child?
If you want to know where I am, if you want to make sure I
am OK, if you want me to let you know where I am then I suggest you buy me a
phone to do all that.

A very persuasive letter by Amaar
Dear Dad,
Dad, our caring dedicated father, imagine me
doing what you want me to be doing every day, imagine everyone in the house
with smiles on their faces, imagine your children playing happily and working
with joy. Do you want this? Yes? Then I suggest that you should generously
purchase more games for my console (PS4).
The first reason why you
should get us more games for my console is because most of our games are quite
boring like, Destiny, Minecraft, Fifa 15, Fifa 14, Knack and Lego Marvel Superheroes.
The more games you get me, the more work I shall do. For example, if you get me
Need For Speed Most Wanted then I will do as much work until you say stop. Do
you want me to be like that? If you do, I think you should purchase more games.
Despite the fact that the games I have are definitely quite boring, sometimes I
enjoy playing them.
Another reason why you
should get me more games is because I am working hard for my sats by doing sats
revision at home and I do booster every week and I’ve done tuition which was
extremely long. Long because it was 6 hours a day which is very exhausting; I
think I deserve something for my hard work such as more games for my PS4.
In contrast, you might
think that I might get addicted in games and that I won’t do work anymore or
maybe I will stay upstairs on it every day while not spending time with the
family but I assure you that whatever you want me to do, I will do it. I
promise you that if you get me more games I won’t say it is boring 100%.
In conclusion, if you want
me to not be bored on the play station, if you want me to do more work at home,
if you want me to be happy, then I think you should buy more games for
me!!! J
Great persuasive writing by Leighton
Dear
Nana,
Imagine the little
cute sounds; imagine me and Kk playing with it imagine a little hamster
scuttling around its cage. My lovely, sweet Nanana you have the money to buy
the family a hamster.
Firstly, I adore hamsters, especially
cute little chubby ones, though I have never had one. I would love you forever
if you bought me a little; cute hamster and I think Kk would too.
In addition, I do lots of chores
around the house such as cleaning my room and putting the washing in the washer
and putting the shopping away.
Annoyingly, it will be pricey
but to counter that I could have no sweets for a few weeks. Also its waste,
which might be very yucky, will smell but we could just clean its cage. It will
be loud but we could get used to the sound or put ear plugs in. Sadly, the dogs,
which I also love, might try to eat it but we could just put it in its cage.
In
summary, I adore hamsters and I do chores so if you want me and Kk to be happy,
if you want another member of our family, if you want another pet then please
consider my request. I eagerly await your response.
Yours sincerely Leighton

Fantastic persuasive letter by Maria
Dear Dad,
Do you want me to feel left out, upset and over tired? Do you want me to
be bored and to hide in a dark corner because I’m not like everyone else? Do
you all the children to laugh at me because I don’t have the same gadgets as
them? No? Then I suggest you buy me a new, shiny phone.
Firstly, you my hard working, amazing dad, should buy
me a brand new phone; I study extremely hard to make you proud. Specifically, I
attend Bulgarian school on Sundays, I also have tuition on Tuesdays and I attend booster classes after
school along with school itself! Don’t you think it’s a little too much for a
10 year old girl? Yes? Did you know that 97% of the children in year six have a
good phone, which they constantly use?
Moreover, imagine if I get lost and I need help,
Imagine if I get hurt on the way home, Imagine if I forget to tell you that I
have a club and you are home worrying for my safety. Do you want all of these
awful things to come true? No? Then please, please may you purchase me a good
looking new phone for my very own safety. To be specific, a couple of weeks ago
I was worried if you were ok because you were late and I didn’t know where you
were. Dad, my kind caring father, a new phone will make both of our lives
easier; you, for example, get extremely worried for me, which is normal, when
you are late but with a phone I can tell you if I am ok and where I am in
school.
I completely understand that some caring people, like
you, might think that I’m too small to use a phone. True? False! I am sure that
I’m not. Although, I strongly appreciate your thoughtfulness I am sure that I’m
old enough to care for my own phone well. In conclusion, I promise you that I
will take good care of my future phone by keeping it in a safe place like home
and by buying a safe, stable case to be 100% sure that it will be ok.
In summary, If you want me to study even harder, if you
want me to be safe, if you want me to be calm then may I request for a brand
new, good looking and cheap phone? Thank you very much for reading this letter.
Your Sincerely:
Maria Marcheva
