Today I walked ouround the playground and I saw a ridiculous amount of waste so I decided to take a couple of photos and post them on our blog. I will be deeply thankful if you give me some good ideas about what we could do to stop this waste problem! Thank you! Eco committee.

ReplyDeleteI have looked at the amount of litter and we do now have litter pickers and rubbish monitors in year 1 and year 3 who help at lunch times, but I have to mention there is still a lot of straws and cartons on the floor after first break any ideas?

Well Y6 Ms Wilding beat me to it. We need daily litter monitors and I think KS1 would enjoy this more than KS2? You could organise a sticker reward system for them and keep a photo log to see if things improve plus hold a special assemble to show how much litter children are dropping. Mrs C
